Graciela Sotelo
Postdoc Researcher
I am a biologist with a background in population genetics. I have combined molecular lab work and field work with phylogenetic and phylogeographic methods to study the evolution of natural populations. I have worked with different systems, mainly marine species (crabs, fishes, periwinkles) but also plants (grasses), generally in the context of adaptation and speciation research.
Within the MAPAS project, I aim to contribute to understanding the impact of microevolutionary processes on biodiversity patterns across space and time.
