Adrián Castro Ínsua
Programming Technician
I studied Biology at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where I got a Ph.D in Biodiversity. At that time, I did some research in the fields of biogeography and macroecology, studying diversity patterns at large scales and trying to understand the ecological and evolutionary processes behind them. I also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cyprus, where the main research focus was in molecular ecology and community metabarcoding.
Through my research career, I acquired extensive experience in programming and data analysis, and in November 2023 I started working as a programming technician at MAPAS Lab.
