As part of the activities of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Marine Research Centre of the University of Vigo (CIM) will celebrate the awards ceremony of the Marie Tharp 2023 Video Competition on 8 February 2024. This is a competition aimed at predoctoral and postdoctoral female researchers at the centre who would like to tell the story of their work in a one-minute audiovisual piece. 

During the event, which will take place at 13:00 in the New Hall of the Faculty of Marine Sciences, the winning videos of the competition will be shown. Sara Gamboa will award the 1st postdoctoral prize as the previous winner of the postdoctoral category.
